The club instructor at Sui Shin Kai Blackpools karate club is Sensei Ray Wilkin Rokudan 6th Dan. He is an international grading examinar and is one of the elite few instructors to have achieved the high grade of 6th Dan in SKKIF within the UK. Sensei Wilkin has over 30 years experience in Shotokan karate and has been involved in both national and international competition however his expertise is in the traditional karate do that is taught by the association chief Kancho Kanazawa.
